Chantal Organics Tamari is traditionally brewed from organic whole soybeans, sea salt and koji (providing enzymes which naturally create the fermentation process). Unlike Shoyu, Tamari does not contain wheat so is ideal for people with gluten allergies.
Tamari’s prolonged fermentation process creates a smooth, rich and full flavour. It is best used when lengthy cooking is required such as soups, stews and baked dishes. Yet its versatility extends its use to marinades, dressings, grilled foods, or as a condiment/dripping sauce.
